Department offers Master of Science in Chemistry. Department of Chemistry avails 40 seats for Post Graduation with specialisation in Organic Chemistry. The department has well equipped labs with all latest instruments needed to conduct practical and research work in all the three disciplines – Organic, Inorganic and Physical chemistry. It has highly qualified and experienced faculty members involved in various fields of research. A rich collection of reference books and journals are available in the departmental library as well as in central library. Guest lectures are arranged regularly to motivate the students and provide them an opportunity to interact with the eminent professors in the field.
Dr. Anil Bansal (HOD, Chemistry) (Ph.D. (Inorganic and Biochemistry, M.Sc. Inorganic Chemistry)
He has 17 Years of teaching experience. He is research guide of 4 students. He has published 21 research papers in reputed Journals and attended 26 National and International Conferences, Seminars and Webinars. He is author of many text books. He is life member of Rajasthan Science Congress Association. He is mentor of Online Radio (Edicor.MITWS). He is member of International Journal of Research in Science and Engineering and Chief editor of Reference book on Covid -19 (Fallout and Recovery) (Kripa Dristhi Publication). He is Editor of Text book of Inorganic Chemistry of B.Sc. II year. He has been registered as a research guide of Pacific University Udaipur, Rajasthan and JJT University Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. One student has been awarded Ph.D. degree under his guide ship from JJT University, Jhunjhunu Rajasthan and One from NIMS University Jaipur, Rajasthan. Two students are pursuing Ph.D. under his guide ship.
